Quartz is a manufactured stone, usually made by 90% or more of natural quartz, mixed with resin and other pigments. Because it’s an industrialized product, it is not porous, unlike many natural stones, which makes it highly resistant to stains caused by liquids such as coffee, oil, or wine.
Quartz sold at TM has 94 to 96% of natural Quartz in its composition, and since the higher the percentage of natural stone, the less porous, and therefore more durable the stone, TM truly stands out for the quality of its product.
Quartz Stone is very resistant to scratches, since it was designed to the purpose to be mostly used in kitchens. Therefore, do not worry about using knives on its surface.
Quartz can be used for surfaces in indoor environments, such as: kitchens, bathrooms or toilets, service areas, flooring, stairs, tables, and much more.
To clean the material, we suggest you use a piece of cloth or a sponge with a neutral detergent. Quartz is not recommended for outdoor environments.
